We receive donations of furniture from kind people right across North Yorkshire, give the furniture a bit of TLC, and then we re-sell the donated items at discounted prices to folks who love a timeless bargain!
We have Wardrobes, Beds, Bikes, Bookshelves, Bird Boxes, Bureaus, Mobility Scooters, Desks, Chairs, Tables, Pictures…anything furniture, we generally will have it!
Our store is run by an amazing team of staff and volunteers without whom we would not function. We currently have volunteer vacancies in customer service, delivery/collection team members and cleaning and display roles. Every volunteer receives a warm welcome and knows that they are part of a team that delivers a vital role within their local community.
The store also incorporates the ‘Shedding Doubt’ project, providing a safe space for participants to meet, chat and create in our workshops. These projects are designed to promote positive mental health.
Our store benefits the environment, as we are saving items from going to landfill, and saving co2 emissions by reducing the need for new items to be manufactured
