Skate Park

The Skatepark is currently open as per Government COVID Guidelines

Community Works  is pleased to announce that with the professional support of Coles Solicitors it has taken over Thirsk Skatepark (Gravelhole Lane, Sowerby). The decision was made by the Trustees of both charities in order to share resources and save costs.

Thirsk8 Park Ltd was formed in 2012 to develop a skate park facility in Thirsk/Sowerby.  It is extremely well used by children and young people from the area.

The skate park is a free, open access facility and therefore does not generate any income. Currently 6th Form Students at Thirsk School help to litter pick during the week, if you can spare anytime to help at a weekend please us know on 01845 524494 or
