Skate Park

Please note that the Skatepark is closed for the duration of the Covid 19 lockdown following government advice.

The Clock is pleased to announce that with the professional support of Coles Solicitors it has taken over Thirsk Skatepark (Gravelhole Lane, Sowerby). The decision was made by the Trustees of both charities in order to share resources and save costs.

Thirsk8 Park Ltd was formed in 2012 to develop a skate park facility in Thirsk/Sowerby.  It is extremely well used by children and young people from the area.

The skate park is a free, open access facility and therefore does not generate any income. We need seven volunteers (aged 18 or over) to close the skatepark at dusk (one evening a week each).  Please contact Hannah at The Clock if you are able to help us on 01845 524494 or Hannah@theclock.com
